Cancellation Policy

This policy covers DevForge, operated by Iron Cortex LTD (Company Number 16889774), a company registered in the United Kingdom with registered office at Academy House 11 Dunraven Place, Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, CF31 1JF, United Kingdom. It uses the same rules as our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy; your statutory rights as a UK or EU consumer, described in the Refund Policy, are not affected.

1. When You Are Charged

Credits are taken from your balance when you submit a project or confirm a specialist request, never before.

2. Cancelling a Project

What you get back depends only on how far the work has progressed when we receive your request: if work on the project has not started, all credits charged for it are returned to your balance; once work has started, the credits are spent and the project can no longer be cancelled.

The stage of each project is shown on its page in your dashboard. Credits returned by a cancellation go back to your DevForge balance; unused credits can then be refunded to your card within 14 days of purchase under our Refund Policy.

3. How to Cancel

There is no cancel button in the dashboard. Cancellations are handled by a person on request:

  • Write to support@devforge.pro with the project ID (a reason is optional)
  • We confirm by email and apply the rule above to the stage the project was at when your email arrived

4. Cancellation Fees

There are no cancellation fees.

5. Closing Your Account

  • Download any code you need first
  • Ask for a refund of unused credits bought in the last 14 days before you delete the account; credits cannot be moved to another account
  • Export your data from Dashboard → Settings → Your Data if you want a copy
  • Delete the account yourself from Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone, or write to support@devforge.pro

We keep account and project data while your account is open. When you delete your account (Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone) it is removed at once; a deletion requested by email is done within 30 days. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting law requires. A deleted account cannot be restored.

6. If You Disagree

If you disagree with a cancellation decision, reply to our email with the project details; a person reviews it again.
