DevForge is operated by Iron Cortex LTD (Company Number 16889774), a company registered in the United Kingdom with registered office at Academy House 11 Dunraven Place, Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, CF31 1JF, United Kingdom. 2. Information We Collect
This is everything we collect, when, and why:

We do not ask customers for a username, company name or phone number, and we do not buy data about you.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service (contract): run your account, quote and build your projects, keep your credit balance
- To take payments and keep records (contract and legal obligation)
- To review and pay Experts (contract and legal obligation): applications, identity checks and payouts
- To answer you (legitimate interest): support and contact-form messages
- To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms & Conditions (legitimate interest and legal obligation): sign-up and checkout country checks
- To understand how the site is used (consent): analytics, only if you switch it on
We send service emails only (password resets and messages about an expert application). We do not send marketing emails.
4. Code Privacy
Your briefs and code are confidential. They are used only to deliver your project; they are not shared with other clients or reused for other projects, and we do not use them to train AI models. Experts who work on a project are bound by the confidentiality obligations in the Expert Terms and Conditions.
5. Who Processes Your Data
We share data only with service providers that process it for us, by category:
- Hosting and database providers: all service data
- Payment processor: card and billing details at checkout
- Email delivery provider: your email address and the messages we send you
- AI model provider: the project descriptions and code you submit, to help build and review your project
- Voice AI provider: the expert voice interview, only for experts who take it
- Team messaging service: an internal notification with your name and email when you sign up, sign in or buy credits, so our team can respond
- Product analytics provider: pages visited and clicks, only if you switch Analytics on
- Experts: the project they are assigned to
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, and to a buyer of our business, who would be bound by this policy.
6. Data Security
- Data travels over HTTPS (TLS); our database provider encrypts stored data at rest
- Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash
- Admin areas are restricted to staff accounts by role
If a data breach puts your rights at risk, we will tell the supervisory authority within 72 hours and inform you without undue delay.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Under UK and EU data protection law (UK GDPR and GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, delete and export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. More detail is on our GDPR Compliance page.
Data export (Your Data) and account deletion (Danger Zone) are self-service in Dashboard → Settings. You can also write to support@devforge.pro; we answer within 30 days. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or to the data protection authority where you live.
Do Not Track: we do not act on Do Not Track signals. Analytics stays off until you switch it on in the cookie banner, and you can switch it off again with the Manage Cookies link in the footer.
8. International Data Transfers
Our providers may process data outside the UK and EEA; our AI model provider and our analytics provider process data in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
9. Data Retention
We keep account and project data while your account is open. When you delete your account (Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone) it is removed at once; a deletion requested by email is done within 30 days. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting law requires.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is for adults (18+, see our Terms & Conditions). We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy
We will announce material changes by email or on the Service before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
